Who is Eligible to Vote?
Members in good standing as of September 27, 2024. One vote per member, and only the person whose name is on the registered membership may vote. Non-members are welcome but may not vote, move, or speak to resolutions.
NOTICE OF THE 69th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Hornby Island Co-operative Association will be held (in person) on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, at 1:00pm.
Please join us for the 69th AGM of the Hornby Island Co-op. The Business Meeting will include the auditor’s report and financial statements for 2023, reports from the General Manager and Board President, voting on ordinary resolutions, and the election of board directors.
How to participate?
Please RSVP to board@hornbycoop.com by October 24 th . A reports package will be sent by email in reply to all RSVPs, and printed packages will be available on the day of. Non-RSVP members will be accepted to meeting.
There will be a Membership Engagement Portion and Q & A after the Business Meeting.
One of the defining characteristics of Co-ops is democratic member participation and our AGM is the perfect time to exercise your member benefits!
